HublerX uses the OEM delivery window (time and dock), configured transit time by lane, standard loading time, quality clearance duration, and production cycle time per part number. These parameters are configured once per customer and part number combination and updated whenever the OEM revises the schedule.

What happens when two JIT deliveries conflict on the same production line?

HublerX detects the capacity conflict when building the JIT schedule and surfaces it to the planner with the two conflicting delivery windows, the line capacity, and the options — run overtime, split between lines, or notify the OEM of the constraint. The planner resolves the conflict; HublerX updates the schedule.

Does HublerX send the ASN to the OEM automatically?

Yes. When the truck departs, HublerX generates and transmits the Advance Shipping Notice to the OEM via EDI — EDIFACT DESADV or ANSI X12 856 depending on the OEM's requirement. The ASN includes the part numbers, quantities, batch numbers, and estimated arrival time.
