Yes. For parts delivered in production sequence to an OEM assembly line, HublerX links individual part serial numbers to the production sequence number, the vehicle identification reference, and the OEM delivery slot. Serial number traceability is supported in addition to batch/lot-level traceability.

Can HublerX generate the traceability report in the format required by specific OEMs?

Yes. Traceability report templates are configured by OEM customer — the fields, the format (PDF, Excel, XML), and the delivery method (email, OEM supplier portal upload) are set per customer. When a traceability query is received, the report is generated and delivered in the OEM's required format.

How does HublerX handle traceability for reworked parts?

Reworked parts are traced through the rework work order — linked to the original WO, the rework operation, the operator, and the post-rework inspection results. The rework history is preserved in the traceability chain and visible in the report. A reworked part's chain shows both the original production and the rework event.

What if a tooling change occurs mid-run?

Tooling changes during a production run are recorded in HublerX against the WO at the point of change — with the previous tooling set, the new tooling set, and the part number at which the change occurred. Parts produced before and after the tooling change are traceable to different tooling records within the same WO.
