Can NCRs be raised from the shopfloor on a mobile device?

The NCR is routed to the reviewer and the quarantine flag is applied in the WMS within seconds of submission.

How does the rework work order get created?

When a rework disposition is approved, HublerX generates a rework work order in the ERP automatically — with the affected batch, the rework operation, the quantity, and the target line or station. The rework WO is tracked in HublerX through completion, and the reworked batch is re-inspected before being released to finished goods.

Can NCRs be raised for in-process deviations as well as finished goods?

Yes. NCRs can be raised at any production stage — incoming inspection, in-process checkpoint, end-of-line inspection, or finished goods review. The routing rules and disposition options are configured by stage — an in-process NCR may allow a process correction and continuation, while a finished goods NCR requires a full disposition decision.

How does the concession release option work?

A concession release allows a batch to be released despite a non-conformance — typically for a minor cosmetic defect that does not affect food safety or product function. The concession must be approved by the quality manager and, where required, the customer. The concession terms, the approving authority, and the customer notification are all recorded in the NCR audit trail.
