HublerX applies historical seasonal uplift factors — the ratio of peak-season sales to baseline sales for the same SKUs in prior years — to the current year's baseline forecast. Where the commercial team has confirmed trade commitments for the season (shelf space, promotional features, distribution expansion), these are loaded as the binding demand signal and replace the statistical projection.

Can HublerX manage multiple seasonal peaks in the same year?

Yes. HublerX maintains a full seasonal calendar — Diwali, Eid, Christmas, summer, monsoon, school season — with separate planning triggers and build windows for each peak. Where two peaks overlap in the planning horizon, HublerX shows the combined demand and capacity requirement and surfaces conflicts between seasonal builds on shared lines.

How does HublerX determine the material order trigger date for each peak?

The order trigger date is calculated backwards from the production start date — production start minus supplier lead time (by material and supplier) equals the order trigger date. HublerX maintains supplier lead times for each material and generates the trigger date automatically. For materials with variable lead times, the conservative (longest) lead time is used as the default.

Can HublerX adjust the seasonal plan as trade commitments become firmer closer to the season?

Yes. The seasonal plan is a rolling document — updated each week as trade commitments are confirmed, retailer orders are received, and the baseline forecast is revised. Where a plan update changes the build target materially, HublerX recalculates the capacity and material requirements and surfaces any new gaps for the planning team to address.
